Check the DetailsA laboratory mixer is a general-purpose device used to mix, homogenize, disperse, or dissolve liquids, slurries, or solid particles in a laboratory setting. Its core function is to achieve a uniform distribution of composition and properties of two or more materials through mechanical action, and to prepare a uniform sample for subsequent analysis, reaction or testing. It is widely used in many non-medical fields such as materials science, food inspection, environmental monitoring, and chemical research and development.

Shanghai Qiujing Biochemical Reagent & Instrument Co., Ltd. is a Laboratory Mixer Series manufacturer working from Songjiang District, Shanghai. We design, build and test vortex mixers, multifunctional oscillating and rotary mixers, roller mixers and digital shakers that homogenise, disperse or dissolve liquid, slurry and particle samples before analysis, reaction or testing. The range sits inside our wider Laboratory Instruments programme, so a laboratory can equip sample preparation from one production base.
Our mixer programme covers six mixing actions, chosen to match sample viscosity, vessel geometry and the way a sample is handled after mixing. Instruments used for overhead stirring and magnetic stirring are built as separate families: the Laboratory Electric mixer Series and the Laboratory Magnetic Stirrer Series.
| Model / Series | Mixing action | Typical sample format | Configuration note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flying Series UF42 small flying saucer vortex mixer | Vortex / orbital | Small volumes, down to a single tube | Zinc alloy housing; silicone oscillating gasket |
| Calm Series Q5 vortex mixer | Vortex | Tubes and small vials | Two safe operating modes |
| Calm Series Q7 multifunctional oscillating mixer | Oscillating | Mixed vessel formats on one deck | ST intelligent analysis control |
| Calm Series digital display roller mixer | Roller, end-over-end | Sealed tubes and bottles of different diameters | Seven-roller deck |
| Calm Series multifunctional rotary mixer | Rotary, 360° vertical rotation | Viscous or shear-sensitive liquids | Long-wave motion over extended runs |
| QJ-RS-100 digital display seesaw rocking shaker | Seesaw rocking | Platform work: environmental monitoring and general preparation | Digital display control |
| QJ-HS-100 digital display circular shaker | Circular shaking | Platform work: environmental monitoring and general preparation | Digital display control |
Viscosity, fill volume, vessel wall thickness and the time a sample can be left unattended decide which action fits. Mixing also sets what happens next in the workflow, so we look at the step before and after the mixer when a series is specified.
| Variable | Options across the range | Confirmed against |
|---|---|---|
| Mixing action | Vortex, oscillating, roller, rotary, seesaw rocking, circular | Sample behaviour and target result |
| Control format | Mechanical operation or digital display set-point, depending on model | Protocol timing and repeatability needs |
| Vessel interface | Single-tube contact cups, multi-roller decks, flat platforms and racks | Vessel diameter, height and fill volume |
| Duty pattern | From short bursts to extended continuous runs | Throughput per shift and unattended time |
| Mains and plug | Fixed at order stage for the destination market | Site power and local standards |
| Exterior and branding | Standard finish or OEM appearance, labelling and packing | Your brand and documentation language |
Housing materials, platform surfaces, gaskets and retaining elements are the parts that meet the sample and the working environment. The UF42 uses a zinc alloy housing with a wear-resistant silicone oscillating gasket; that combination reflects how we approach the rest of the range, holding service life and repeated contact in the same design decision.
When a protocol involves solvents, dilute acids, detergents or elevated temperature, we confirm the contacting materials, surface finish and cleaning method for the model you select before the order specification is fixed. Removable parts that can be cleaned separately are identified at that stage so the laboratory can write a maintenance routine around them.
Digital display models — the Q7 oscillating mixer, the roller mixer, the QJ-RS-100 and the QJ-HS-100 — keep operating information visible at the bench, while the Q5 vortex mixer provides two safe operating modes for hands-on tube work. For mixing steps that repeat many times per shift, the control format matters as much as the mixing action.
Our quality management system holds CE and ISO 13485 certification, and production runs under full-process control: raw material inspection, in-process testing and finished-product inspection before packing. An in-house test laboratory supports performance verification, and technical patents underpin a number of the mechanisms used across the range.
For project orders, a sample can be supplied for performance verification, and the specification is finalised on your confirmation before volume production begins. Before shipment we review the agreed configuration, the delivered accessories and the documentation package, so what arrives matches what was approved.
OEM/ODM work covers product design, specification adjustment, appearance customisation and packaging solutions. We build to drawings or samples and support distributors and project teams who need a consistent model across repeat orders. Standard lead time is 10 working days; quantity and customisation scope are reflected in the schedule confirmed with the order.
Orders ship in protective packing for international transport, with operation guidance and technical consultation included. After-sales support covers operating questions and troubleshooting to keep mixer units productive through their service life.
Single tubes and small volumes are normally handled with a vortex mixer such as the Flying Series UF42 or the Calm Series Q5. Sealed tubes and bottles of larger diameter, or liquids that should not be aerated, are better served by the seven-roller Calm Series digital display roller mixer, which keeps the vessel turning end-over-end.
Yes. Mains input, plug type and labelling are fixed at order stage against the destination market and site power. Confirm the market and the required plug standard with your order details so the specification is closed before production.
We supply samples so that performance and compatibility can be checked before a volume order is placed. Sample verification is part of our standard process: we agree the solution, confirm it with you, and only then move to formal production.
We provide OEM/ODM services covering product design, specification adjustment, appearance customisation and packaging solutions. Production follows your drawings or samples, and branding, labelling and documentation language are agreed as part of the order specification.
Standard lead time is 10 working days, with customisation scope and order quantity reflected in the confirmed schedule. Units ship in protective export packing with operating guidance, and our team supports installation questions and troubleshooting after delivery.
